The new Sun T2's are out...  

 The press release says the new 5120 and 5220 servers are ready to ship.  There's details on the coolthreads site and there's details about them. The one big thing from a hardware perspective is the 1U box now has two power supplies.  The 2U 5220 has 8 2.5" SAS drives, up from 4.  So a lot more local storage (72Gb or 146Gb drives).  Add this to the T2's addition of seven more floating point cores and doubling the hardware thread count should make this a pretty fast machine.  I'm a little disapointed they didn't bump up the raw Ghz of the chip though.
